Pebble CEO and founder Eric
Migicovsky announced the news Wednesday, during a media conference that was
webcast to eager Kickstarter supporters at the Customer Electronics Show in Las
Vegas. Pebble is a simple watch that can connect through Bluetooth to an iPhone
or Android smartphone. It shows texts and emails, and vibrates for each
incoming call and able to controls music playlists, also it has sports and fitness
apps as well. The founder Migicovsky committed himself to sending 85,000 Pebbles
and about 69,000 peoples are financed in this project. The first group of
watches will start sending to Kickstarter’s sponsors on January 23 and now Tens
of thousands” people have signed up for pre-orders on Pebble’s website said
Migicovsky. He also said that “It would be great to see Pebble in stores, but
they haven’t made any kind of deals yet” for this. They are excited to see how
it progresses.
